Paul Naton’s latest installment in the Scale DVD scene, the Best of Scale Soaring, had me wanting to grab the guys and organise an aerotow.
Based on the latest 2007 JR aerotow event in the
US , this DVD shows us some of the great highlights from the event. With coverage of some of the nicest scale sailplanes I have seen of video, the Best of Scale Soaring gets us as close to the event as we could get without being there.
Paul seems to put a lot on the line to bring us these fabulous DVDs and this one is no exception, putting is life on the line to get the shot! You’ll just have to get the DVD to see what I mean.
If that was not enough - he takes us to some great slope locations to watch a few scalies in action.
Of note are the video interviews with a few of the owners and their craft. It’s nice to get an insight into the motivation that some have for the choices they make in their models.
With winter fast approaching, you will not be disappointed by grabbing a copy to watch while the glue is drying.
